There are a number of books available about the McCoy Family. Some are very old and hard to find, others are still in print.

Family History:

The McCoys: their story as told to the author by eye witnesses and descendants by Truda Williams McCoy - This book is available from Amazon.com. This is a must-have if you descend from the feuding McCoys. It has recently been reprinted and it's circulation is limited. The fist two-thirds of the book is family history and the lst one-third is genealogy going down each descendant of "Old William" McCoy. There are 43 photos of people, houses, and other places. The dates of the genealogy ranges roughly from 1750-1960.
